Sir, may tanong po ako. Paano po malaman ang complex root ng equation na greater than 3 ang highest exponent?
Parang ganito po X^4 + 8X^2 + 16 = y
Ang roots po ay +-2i, +-2i
Posible po ba yun sa calculator? Salamat ts.

Sa pagkakaalam ko lang po, hindi pa po supported ng mga latest calculator ang 3 roots.

When you are getting the slope of the line using the first derivative, what you are getting is the slope of the tangent line..To get the slope of the Normal Line, you get the negative reciprocal of this..
So, get the first derivate(Tangent slope) of the given equation with x=1(given in the problem)

And getting the negative reciprocal of this we have -1/4..
Then get the equation using STAT 2..

Remember, in the calculator, the equation of STAT 2 is y=a+bx..
Substitute a and b in the equation and you will get the answer..

Determine the current at the end of 2 seconds..
