@TS and Litemint... bakit po ganito nangyayari sa akin may lumalabas na need to restart may unit at di siya pumapasok sa screen flooded with scrolling commands at iAtkos ML2 po na download ko sa kanilang site...

sir may error pa rin eh malas ko talaga 4 distro yung nadownload ko lahat di ko napagana last na hindi ko pa natatry yung iATKOS ML2 di ko pa nabuburn sa DVD kaylangan yata 8GB dvd.. Thanks sa pagtulong sir Litemint!!

pagkamali yung bootflag na gamit during boot, ganun tlga ang nangyayari. Anung bootflags ba gamit mo?

Normally kung intel nman gaya ng sayo, wala nang bootflag na kelangan para makaboot. Try mo lng itype to during boot "-v" withouth the qoutation.

Post here kung anung ang errror if ever.

Nasabe ko naman ata sa first page na malabo po tlaga ang installation sa IDE drives. Peru mo sya iboot ng walang ibang bootflag maliban sa "-v" para lang makita mo yung issue.

BTW, you should still be able to boot into the installer kahit IDE ang drive. Ang problema lng kung IDE ang drive ay hindi ito makikita sa disk utility ng mac kaya di ka mkapag-install but the fact the meron AHCI settings sa bios mo, ibig sabhin sata yang drive mo.

Also try this boot flags one by one:

npci=0x3000 -v
PCIRootUID=0 -v
Graphics Enabler=No -v

then try combining them if they didnt work. Also here's some of the most commont bootflags and explanations.

Nakakaabot na ako sa installing ts pero di natatapos kasi error in installing please contact bla bla bla...

Customize ko naman at pinili ko yung intel at wala ako makita na kernel sa iatkos ml2... Sana maging ok na itong sa akin para makapag.umpisa na sa new environment...

mga sir, panu b tlga ittype ko after mboot ung dvd? ganitong ganito ba? Kernel Cache=\atom -v

kasi pag "Kernel Cache=\atom -v" ganyan, dumiderecho padin sa setup.

Litemint di ko gets paano e.type yung -v -f kasi autoload naman lahat at yung lalabas na terminal di nman ako makapagtype... Iatkos ml2 po gamit ko ngaun...

Naka iatkos ml2 ka na ba ngaun litemint?

Litemint nagawa ko yung -v -f pero walang error ang lumabas po at as is ko po lahat sa pag.install journaled pinili ko po tapos default lang din yung sa customize... May mali ba akong nagawa at sinunod ko po lahat...

Edit 2nd time:

Nagback read po ako at nakita ko yung procedure sa pag.install mo po sa iatkos ml2 at dapat po ba "cpus=1 -v" at ano po edit mo sa customize litemint? Ito unit ko Asus K42JC at i3 po and 1st gen po ata cpu ko kasi nong binili ko to wala pa yung sandy bridge...

Edit 3rd time:

Ginawa ko po yung cpus=1 -v at itopo una lumabas at sandali tumigil dito po

Tapos continue na po siya at ito na po yung final niya na di na gumalaw...

Edit 4th time:

-v command ginamit at ila kinalabasan po...

AW ganun ba wala na talaga pagasa.... natry ko yung bootflag na sabi mo ayaw pa rin nageerror pa din.. kung gumamit ako ng DVD sa installation mas ok ba kesa sa USB?? kahit ba iATKOS gamitin ko hindi pa rin pede sa IDE?? meron kasi ako iATKOS ML2 hindi ko pa natatry..

Try mo ito, -f cpus=1 busratio=22 ahcidisk=1

Kung ganitong error, I think i-uncheck mo yung Sound upon installation doon sa Customize

As far as I can remember, heto ang mga nakacheck saken while the rest default ko lang.

@dodie, para saakin yung usb, bagal kasi magbasa kapag sa DVD, bihira kasi ko gumamit ng DVD Mainam sana na ipost mo din ang screenshots para makita natin ang mga errors.

Nakadual boot ka po ba?

Paano gagawin yung sa usb bootable litemint and tama ka po bagal talaga magbasa sa dvd...

Before Installation:

- BIOS settings:
- Set your BIOS to its default settings.
- Execute Disable bit: Enabled
- XD (if exists): Enabled
- Limit CPUID Max: Disabled
- Set all cores of the CPU active/enabled.
- Virtualization (if exists): Enabled or Disabled, try it.
- Hyper-threading: Enabled or Disabled, try it.
- HPET (High Precision Event Timer/PCH): Enabled
- SATA Mode: AHCI
- Set all the Overclock/Performance/Turbo etc. values to Auto.
- Set the UEFI mode settings (if exists) to compatible mode

start ka ulet sa -v muna, then check naten ang errors

start ka ulet sa -v muna, then check naten ang errors

Ganun parin ang kinalabasan litemint... Kahit enable na yung uefi failed parin... Magbibigay ako screenshot ngaun sa bios ko... Hindi ko pa pala na update bios ko simula ng nabili ko po lappy ko... Baka need ko pa mag.update ng bios pero takot ako mag.update kasi sa bios eh...
