[Tutorial]Samsung Galaxy J2(sm-j200gu) Root + Xposed

Proof -

First we need to install TWRP

Enable "Usb debugging"(goto settings->>Developer options->>usb debugging)

1. Download all needed files:

Samsung galaxy USB Driver - Download
Odin3_v3.10.7_n_SuperSU-v2.66.zip - Download
twrp-2.8.7.0-j2lte.img.tar - Download

2. Extract Samsung Galaxy Driver and install to PC
3. Turn off Phone and Boot into "Download mode"(While Phone is off Hold Volume Down + Home + Power)
in Download mode press Volume Up to Continue.

4. Extract Odin3_v3.10.7_n_SuperSU-v2.66.zip and run Odin3 v3.10.7.exe
5. Once the device is detected by Odin, click on the button “AP” and select the file twrp-2.8.7.0-j2lte.img.tar
6. click on the “Start” button in Odin to start Flashing

Rooting Procedure

Once TWRP is installed we can now proceed to rooting your device(j200gu).
1. Copy "BETA-SuperSU-v2.66-20160103015024.zip" to your phones external sd card
2. Turn Off Phone and Boot into "Recovery Mode"(while Phone is off Hold "Volume up + Home + Power" then release all when you see "samsung galaxy j2")
3. In recovery mode press "Install" and select "BETA-SuperSU-v2.66-20160103015024.zip"
4. swipe right to "confirm"
5. Reboot device

Xposed Installer(for tweaks, optional)

Download apk + sdk here

Installation:

1. Copy all files to sd card
2. install XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk
3. Turn off phone and boot to recovery(Hold "Volume up + Home + Power", wait for "samsung galaxy j2" logo then release all)
4. Click on "install" then search for xposed-v80.0-sdk22-arm-custom-build-by-wanam-20160211.zip
5. swipe to confirm
6. reboot

pag nag root ka mawawala talaga yung ota. pag gusto mo mag update sa mashmallow pag meron na pwede mo naman download yung firmware sa sammobile mismo.

Nagawa ko na po mainstall ang TWRP gamit ang Odin. Pero bakit pag nagboot ako for recovery yung stock na recovery ang nakikita ko? naka PASS na sa odin.

Yun ang lumalabas pag patch ko nang BETA-SuperSU-v2.66-20160103015024.zip via SD CARD ko.

Successful naman yung pg Install sa SD card at pg apply nang patch pero parang hindi pa rooted yung phone ko.

I tried to confirm it with root checker. Hindi pa daw rooted. Help naman mga bossing.
