From my slow-accumulating bookshelf of modern fiction, here are some of my guiltiest pleasures:

Michael Crichton - exceptional blend of knowledge and entertainment; the horrors of science-fanaticism exposed, with acurate scientific and historical research--supported by legitimate technical data--, is Crichton's main plot in almost every book. His witty and sarcastic humor in his prose made him a literary genius, in my opinion. Don't bother watching the movies though.
-fav. books: State Of Fear, The Great Train Robbery

John Dunning - (Cliff Janeway bookman series) If you're a diehard fan of detective-series and mysteries, get the entire series(5 books) at once! If mysteries don't interest you that much, but you simply love books, still get the complete Janeway series. Bibliomania, secrets of the book trade, rare-book collecting, sacred first editions, bookscouting, and booktheft among others in five very exciting mysteries.
-fav. book: The Bookman's Wake

Lee Child - (Jack Reacher series) A retired MP Major who became a wandering hero, whose curiousity often brings him in the wrong place at the wrong time, messing with the wrong people, yet he always outsmarts, outwits, and outthinks his adversaries. Oh wait! I forgot, he's also 6'5" tall and weighs 250lbs; so he also outmuscles, outclasses, and outfights his enemies, brutally. The coolest protagonist since Chili Palmer, IMO. Read at least one Reacher novel and you'll know why. I have only read 8 out of 17 books from the series; left me craving for the rest.

Robert Ludlum - 700 pages of intricate plotting in supersonic pacing = 12 hours of non-stop eye-abuse. The late Mr. Ludlum is the devil himself! Ok, all superlative praises, amen. (Let's just pretend the Bourne movies don't exist.)
-fav. books: The Bourne Identity, The Scorpio Illusion

At bago pa ako mapagkamalang spammer, eto yung iba:
Jeffrey Archer, David Baldacci, John Grisham, Stephen King, Dan Brown, Scott Turow, Steve Berry, James Patterson, Brad Meltzer, Elmore Leonard.

I like those authors with the kind of genre that Radclyffe writes... but I usually read those stories who are written by anonymous writers or those unpopular ones which posts their stories here in web :D

Radclyffe wrote the Honor series, Fated love, Justice series and others.. weird? well, we all have our own preferences :3
