Who are your favorite authors?

How about Doestovsky's "Crime and Punishment" and "The Idiot"? Good novels too!

True, I read Crime & Punishment a few years ago (translation by Constance Garnett) I'm planning to read it again next year.. I'm looking for a different translation. I've read somewhere that Constance gave a different tone to Dostoevsky's novels. I noticed the difference in the narrative-style when I read a Andrew MacAndrew's translation of another Dostoevsky novel.

As for "The Idiot", I'm currently reading the book. Almost done..

I've read "The Brothers Karamazov" too, which is a far more lengthy and superior book than the two, imo.

Neil Gaiman, Tim Burton, Orson Scott Card, Tad Williams

Marami din kasi pero mas gusto ko mga fantasy writers kasi nakakatuwa kung papaano nila nakukuha mga ideas nila.
