A Simple Act Of Kindness
By Estella • June 28, 2018
Late this evening, I got a ride to the local grocery store. After loading up my cart and checking out, my phone dies right as I'm about to confirm my uber. No portable charger on me (none sold in the grocery store) , no friends nearby, I don't know the way back (and even if I did, walking alone, at night, as a female, in Cleveland, is not a good idea). I of course had a panic attack. So this post is a thank you to Kameron, a store employee who asked me what was wrong, was super friendly, found a charger, and charged my phone. He helped me when no one else would, and by doing so got me home safe and sound. The world needs more Kamerons.
