[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

budget:
usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.


also please put your requests in this format:

please indicate (at least)the size of the hard disk desired, and also what you need/have/prefer.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

hmm... tanung ku lang kung may nabibili pa ba talagang Galaxy GTX260 sa gilmore? hindi ko lahat naikot e. kaya PALIT lang ung nabili ko.. ganda kasi ng design ng galaxy..

ahh max option? kaso nag tataka ako kasi wala nmn nakalagay na gddr3 d2 ang name lng nung vcard is PALIT 9600GT 512MB 256BIT

patanung naman kung ano maganda pampalit sa Asus 9550 na 128 bit 256MB na AGP. balak ko kc upgrade tung graphic card ko. AGP pa po, not PCI E. 23" LCD gamit ko, nahihirapan video card ko render ng mga CAD. AutoCAD ko po pala gagamitin. (AutoCAD 2010) 2GB DDR 400, Pentium D 3.0, 2-250GB HD. tnx in advance.. 256 bit sana, initial choice ATI HD 3850 512MB 256 bit & ATI HD 4650 1GB 128bit.

So far, ang nakita kong 2gb na malapit dito sa amin ay:

2GB Kingston DDR2 800mhz = 2,240
2GB Kingston DDR3 1333mhz = 2,550

ano po b pngkaiba ng 800mhz sa 1333mhz...pede po kaya yan sa pc ko :

intel 9400C2Q



and, any recommendations po sa pg-upgrade ng spec ko, or next time nlng po ako mgupgrade

anung advice nyo kung may 30k budget para bumuo ng cpu? for post-processing... edit photos

mga sir ask ko lang po kung meron kayung alam na site ng mga tindahan ng parts ng computer or sa gilmore gusto ko po kasi i-check ung mga price ng specs ihh.

LGA 775

meaning pentium 4 with socket 775 up to core2duo lang yan.. pero daan siguro sa update para makapasok ang quad core sa bios nean..
