Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

May suggest ako sa gusto mag build ng mid-range gaming PC na AMD Platform

AMD Athlon II X2 240 (2.8 GHz) - OC nyo nalang to 3.5 GHz (ito settings FSB=250 Multiplier=14)

bad3p!! buti pa ikaw! ang core i5 750 ay quad core. pero bakit ****** ina na ito, ang pangit ng performance.

heto ung rating ng pc ko. ang baba bad3p.

depende na yan sir sa cooler mo sir. .kng stock siguro nsa 3.2-3.3 lang? .pero kung may aftermarket cooler ka, maybe pwede pa 4GHz. .^_^

actually, maslamang ang Phenom II, though Athlon II is pinahinang version lang ng Phenom II. .comparing Phenom II X2 550 and Athlon II X4 620. .I'd choose Athlon II X4 620. .

why? quadcore :) and the difference is may L3 Cache ang Phenom II, Athlon II is L2, which I really can't tell the difference. .

maganda talaga ang Phenom II X4, dahil makakaomverclock ka ng mataas kesa sa Athlon II X4, masmahal sa Athlon II X4 dahil pang high-end. .pero choice nyo na yan sir :)

and im having problem sa mga games n d supported ng lappy q....
isa n ung videocard..

and magkano po ba mgpadag2ng ram....

Hello po. Ask ko lang po kung kakayanin ng desktop ko ang wireless setup.

Balak ko i-convert ng wireless serial port yung monitor ko at gumamit ng bluetooth headset.
May gamit na akong wireless keyboard & mouse.

Kakayanin kaya ng cpu ko yung mga devices? Pentium D ang processor ko.

Sir pa update ako ng build na toh,
eto lang po changes sana sa build.

K & M: Genius / Logitech for Gaming with cord ps2/usb (nagbago gusto ko, magastos sa batt ang cordless)

and ask ko na rin kung anong pwede ilagay pa diyan / upgrade
para mas malamig oh hindi uminit e.g. water/liquid cooling,etc.
paki post na rin ng price :)

sir ung problem ninyo na sinasabing "unsupported pixels", hindi kaya ng integrated video mo kasi nga po built in lang yan. saka most all of the laptops are NOT upgradeable. Although there are "brands" of laptops that can be upgraded their video cards.

planning ko po bumili ng new CPU....ung pang gaming..like COD6, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 na games on high settings...pde po mkarequest kung ano specs ng CPU ang bibilhin ko..thanks...and btw...meron na ako speakers and 17" LCD monitor...

budget 30-35k
