[ADVISE] Help in Assembling/Building/Choosing/Upgrading Your Computer

Hi guys,

I started this thread to help everyone wanting a new computer. All you need to do is post the following:

usage:

other miscellaneous requirements:

*If to be used for gaming,. please indicate the games you wish to play.


The prices i will be using are those that come from major shops in gilmore and also PCexpress and others... The prices will only reflect that of which on the date of my post.


also please put your requests in this format:

How to get to Gilmore:
commuting... From EDSA get on the MRT to Cubao and take the other train and get off at Gilmore station. so easy.
driving... Via aurora is the easiest way from EDSA. anyway, just ask na lang cos i dunno where you'll be coming from.

Hi. Please help me buy a computer for my son. He will be using it mainly for school and some games. He likes to play Dota and L4D. Our budget for the PC would be 20K. We already have a printer, monitor and speakers. Our monitor is a 17" CRT monitor. My son said he prefers 1gb video card.

ano po ba difference 8gb ram and 2x4gb bukod sa ram slot na magagamit ko.

iisa lng yun heheh what i mean is dalwang 4gb stick...

kya 8gb 2x4gb


higher frequency n rin para mas ok sa gaming 1600mhz.. yung nasa list mo kasi 1333mhz lng...

balak ko sana bumili ng video card.. dahil po parating nakalow fx lang pc games ko..

3k po budget ko, balak ko po sana bumili sa gilmore, ano po bang magandang video card masasuggest nyo?.

yung kakayahin yung COD4, NBA2k

guys. paadvice naman po sa rig ko. 28k budget ko sa cpu lang. sa monitor at iba, ako na bahala.
1tera po gusto ko hdd. tapos yung psu naman 500-550 lang okay na. pa advice naman po ako sa ibang parts. gusto ko sana yung a10 ng amd. maganda b yun? ano mganda ipares dun na mobo tsaka video card? help me guys. thank you very much

anything.. basta mameet nia yung needs mo for sure sulit yun... nasa type of use nmn yan...

any reason po in buying laptop???

Hindi naman po gaming purpose ko, want ko lang kasi siya lagyan ng application na mabigat, actually, want ko installan siya ng Adobe Flash para sa game dev. ko

Kaya gusto ko medyo mataas ang RAM at processor niya para hindi masyado laggy..Anyways, my alloted budget for this is 30K.

Kung may alam po kayo na ganitong specs or medyo malapit, please reply po

Sir pa check nga po kung compatible sila sa isa't isa, baguhan pa ko sa PC stuffs..

Pde na yan kung general use pero if it's gaming you're after then you could build a better performing rig.

sir di ko sure if kakayanin ng 15 to 22K ang apps for 3d rendering, specially you need bigger ram & 4 core up. so kulang yan sir na 15-22K, pwede kung 22K+ sir, base on my experience sir may specs ako na worth 28K pero hindi pa rin sapat for 3d rendering, at nag add pa ako ng another 4GB para sa ram na 1600MHz sir,

Cpu 4-core its up to you either amd or intel,
gpu i dunno which one, im using amd cpu & gpu kasi,

im using amd fx-8350 & sapphire hd 7950 oc ed, sulit na sulit sa pre rendering using vray rt, at sa vray adv sulit din ang fx-8350, yun lang sir malaki kakain na budget for this.

Hi! Mga magkano po kaya kelangan for semi gaming pc? Yung makakapagplay ng games like NBA2K13, Skyrim, GTA IV. Not really hardcore gaming po Thanks!

Mga bossing, patulong naman. Gusto ko sana mag customize ng sarili kong rig. Bale gusto ko sana yung kaya mag multi task tas kaya mag handle ng HD videos (editting) tska mabilis mag render. may 2nd hand ksi na video card ATI RADEON 5450 1gb
yan lng muna bibilhin ko habang hindi pa ako mkafull upgrade sa pc ko ito yung specs ko

baka ksi kung high end video card ang bibilhin ko baka ksi magoverheat sya
