Centos+Asterisk+ViciDIal Guide with Clustering

Good day mga boss!

Benchmark lang. 2 weeks na nagru-run ang outbound dialling system namin using vicidial system. And so far satisfied ako sa performance na binibigay niya. Currently may mga modifications ako na gustong gawin and please help me again mga boss.

1. Closer type campaign. Meron kasi kaming front-closer type na agent. As of now nakaset-up lang si vicidial na magdial through sa mga fronter type agent. Then after sana mag ok si customer, maset-up sana yung quick transfer button or masend sa available na closer namin na local din. Binasa ko yung manual and as of now naguguluhan ako sa Inbound group/DID etc. Sana mai-send sa closer group from fronter type agents yung calls.

For example may 2 closer kami and 12 fronter type agents. After nag-ok si customer mase-send yung calls sa closer na available.

2. Next is g711 codec kasi yung gamit ngayon. Mas okay ba kung g729 and/or g723 codec ung gamitin? And nagtry ako maglagay ng codec but unfortunately hindi siya nag load. As of now, we have 12 agents and 50 mbps but sometimes yung call nagpuputol-putol.

3. Lastly, minsan naghahang yung eyebeam/x-lite sa pc kapag nakaconnect si vicidial. Normal lang ba yun?

Agent to agent transfer you want to achieve on this setup? you have to create AGENTDIRECT Ingroup and these agents should select this group upon logging into campaign. The agents that are currently join the group will be existing on the list and able to navigate easily upon perform local call transfer.

2. Next is g711 codec kasi yung gamit ngayon. Mas okay ba kung g729 and/or g723 codec ung gamitin? And nagtry ako maglagay ng codec but unfortunately hindi siya nag load. As of now, we have 12 agents and 50 mbps but sometimes yung call nagpuputol-putol.

g729 codec mostly been used if you want to reduce bandwidth consumption over your voice calls. Articles available online to load g729 modules in asterisk are working. You have to match it with you asterisk version and server hardware specs you currently using.

3. Lastly, minsan naghahang yung eyebeam/x-lite sa pc kapag nakaconnect si vicidial. Normal lang ba yun?

Hmmm actually it's not. If that's an Hosted Server or in-house server please do consider to check the connectivity between server and end-user device. If that is Hosted outside, conduct MTR from end-user device going to public IP of hosted server as well as do reverse MTR too. If that's within in-house, you can try it also to check if there are packet losses around your local network. Check all the interface real-time statistics attached from end-user going to your server.

Kasi ang mangyayari sa amin is example. Tatawag si 201 sa outbound using predictive dialling then transfer ni 201 to 203 kasi si 203 ang closer.

Yung 2 and 3 will try to research muna din :)

then use the xfer button on softphone for call transfer. However, this is not kinda typical setup on Vicidial been used when perform call transfer to local users. The mechanism been used mostly was the example link above which is Agent Transfer Call to Another Agent via AGENTDIRECT.

Thanks dito boss. Mas naging nalinaw sa akin ang transferring. I think Agent-Direct will do the trick. Will experiment on this! Yung Quick Transfer Button paano ba nagwowork? Automatic nag transfer kung kanino available?

Actually I haven't tried it yet. I'll update you here when I check and verify that settings.

pwede ba humingi ng konting knowledge regarding elastix.

nag setup ako ng elastix 4.0 na may callcenter (predictive dialler) pero nung nilagyan ko ng leads na number ng mga friend ko, nag da-dial sa monitoring ng elastix at nakikita ko din na nag da-dial sa GSM gateway ko pero di naman nag riring sa mga phone namin. ang nakalagay na error bawat pasok na tawag no queues daw pero may setup naman ako ng queues. thanks

Magtry din ako mag-install nito ng elastix. For curiosity purposes. Pero ang alam ko limited ata capability ng elastix for simultaneous calls (8 lang ata) for free users? Tama ba.
 
Use Issabel PBX po sya po ang bagon vesion ni Elastix n completely free. Si Elastix was acquire by 3cx po kaya limited ang capability nya. However you can still use the free version of Elastix limited nga lang and every year you need to reregister

Gumawa ka po ba ng ibang queues for Outbound/Predictive dialing? Aside from using the PBX sa Call Center you need to create 2 campaigns 1 for inbound and 1 for outbound which more on predictive dialing.
 
Kaya ba ng vicidial na irun sa cloud services? Plan ko sana magsetup ng remote access for my confirmers. Or paano ba magremote access?

Yes it can. Some now are accessing web link as well as connecting their softphones to their Hosted Dialers running around cloud. Kindly confirm if that's what you referring to.

Oo tol. Vicidial + pfsense ang setup namin. Baka may guide kayo dyan kung paano gawin. Kahit hindi cloud services parang extension lang. Para kahit nasa bahay makakatawag pa rin na nakaconnect sa server sa office. Ganun sana ideal setup ko.

If you're using Vicibox (OpenSuSE platform) you can permit the public address of your remote agents in Yast Firewall settings. If other Linux platform you're using, try to explore IPTables. Fraud Calls are now imminent threat to all Dialers vulnerable to public so keep your server more secured. Try to explore and integrate also Fail2ban security feature on your server so that they can't able to penetrate well on your running Asterisk and SSH access.

Vicidial + pfsense hindi ko pa na try pero pwede yan using port forward if I'm not mistaken.

Try mo rin ung suggestion ni nOosadz :lol:

Actually yan nga yung ginagawa ko kaso hindi ako marunong. Hahaha. May tutorial akong sinusundan sa net kaso hindi nagkokonek pag mobile data/naka wifi sa cp ko then connect sa server namin. Baka may guide kayo jan mga boss. Pashare naman. Thanks!

Eto yun diba boss? Kaso paano makakakonek dito sa server namin? Sorry total newbie. Okay lang ba na ung sa cellphone na globe/smart ang internet provider? Tapos paano kumonek sa server dito and access vicidial.

Hindi ba pwede na yung included na sa pfsense na openvpn?

Pwede yung openvpn ni Pfsense and you can configure the forwarding of the your Vicidial using si Pfsense without touching c yast/yast2 ni vici

Thanks dito boss. Try kong gawin. Mukhang kailangan ng dedicated na IP server sa ganitong setup and hindi pwede ung mga prepaid sim/postpaid plan sims
