First Time sa GYM...

Isa sa mga foods na NAPAKAYAMAN sa protein ay ang hamak na MALUNGGAY.. yung 5 pesos na malunggay sa palengke ay katumbas na ng 1/2 kilo ng pork in terms of protein, about 8 saging in terms of potassium, iron, lots of vitamins and minerals na kelangan wen ur body building..

bro, do you have a link or source where you got the info? Medyo skeptical ako sa part that the 5 pesos na malunggay ay katumbas nung 1/2 kilo ng pork in terms of protein. kasi kung totoo yun, magtatanim nalang ako ng malunggay sa labas ng bahay namin :)

no pain, no gain, parang nabasa ko to sa gym ah :lol: sabe din daw nung nagtuturo samin sa gym, kahit hindi ganon ka bigat binubuhat mu basta tama ang pagbuhat may maggain ka, saka sabi naman ng kabarkada ko na dating payat, ngayon bato na, sa umpisa habang nag papalaki ng muscles sasabayan ng madaming kain, pag kuntento ka na sa lapad ng katawan mu saka ka na magdiet at sabayan ng pagbubuhat ng magaan. ayun...:lol:

you will definitely see gains lalo na pag first timer ka. tapos your body will be more toned, sabi nga nila, titigas katawan mo..

dalawa kasi ang phase ng bodybuilding, una e bulking, yun yung kain ka ng marami (way over you daily caloric intake, but with the RIGHT food ha, hindi yung kahit ano lang) then pag malaki and malakas ka na, you then start cutting, dun ka na magd-diet. usually same amount of protein but less carbs and fats. Dun na lalabas yung pinaghirapan nyo.. btw, during cutting, since nabawasan na yung kain nyo, for sure mababawasan din yung lakas nyo..

Guys speaking of saging, Di kasi ako mahilig sa feeling ko kasi nasusukua ako pagkumakain ako nun, anu kaya pede ko gawin para makain ung 1 whole saging. Before binubudburan ko ng Milo anu pa kaya pwede?

Moringa oleifera, commonly referred to simply as Moringa (Tamil murungai, முருங்கை),(Kannada Nuggekai ನುಗ್ಗೆ ಕಾಯಿ) (Mulakkaya in Telugu), (Marathi Shevaga), (Malunggay in Tagalog) is the most widely cultivated variety of the genus Moringa. It is of the family Moringaceae. It is an exceptionally nutritious vegetable tree with a variety of potential uses. The tree itself is rather slender with drooping branches that grows to approximately 10 m in height; however, it normally is cut back annually to one meter or less, and allowed to regrow, so that pods and leaves remain within arm's reach.

The Moringa tree grows mainly in semi-arid tropical and subtropical areas, corresponding in the United States to USDA hardiness zones 9 and 10. While it grows best in dry sandy soil, it tolerates poor soil, including coastal areas. It is a fast-growing, drought-resistant tree that is native to the southern foothills of the Himalayas, and possibly Africa and the Middle East[1]. Today it is widely cultivated in Africa, Central and South America, Sri Lanka, India, Mexico, Malaysia and the Philippines. Considered one of the world’s most useful trees, as almost every part of the Moringa tree can be used for food, or has some other beneficial property. In the tropics it is used as forage for livestock. And in many countries, Moringa is used as a micronutrient powder to treat indigenous diseases.

A traditional food plant in Africa, this little-known vegetable has potential to improve nutrition, boost food security, foster rural development and support sustainable landcare.[2]

The immature green pods, called “drumsticks” are probably the most valued and widely used part of the tree. They are commonly consumed in India, and are generally prepared in a similar fashion to green beans and have a slight asparagus taste. The seeds are sometimes removed from more mature pods and eaten like peas or roasted like nuts. The flowers are edible when cooked, and are said to taste like mushrooms. The roots are shredded and used as a condiment in the same way as horseradish, however it contains the alkaloid spirochin, a potentially fatal nerve paralyzing agent, so such practices should be strongly discouraged.[citation needed]

In addition to being used fresh as a substitute for spinach, its leaves are commonly dried and crushed into a powder, and used in soups and sauces. Murungakai as it is locally known in Tamil Nadu and Kerala is used in Siddha medicine. Its leaves are full of medicinal properties. The tree is a good source for calcium and phosphorus. In Siddha medicine, the drumstick seeds are used as a sexual virility drug for treating erectile dysfunction in men and also in women for prolonging sexual activity.

The refined oil is clear, odorless, and resists rancidity at least as well as any other botanical oil. The seed cake remaining after oil extraction may be used as a fertilizer or as a flocculent to purify water.

The bark, sap, roots, leaves, seeds, oil and flowers are used in traditional medicine in several countries. In Jamaica, the sap is used for a blue dye.

The flowers are also cooked and relished as a delicacy in West Bengal and Bangladesh, especially during early spring. There it is called sojne ful and is usually cooked with green peas and potato

thanks for the link. Yes I do agree na sobrang dami ng good things that we can get from malunggay, but i do not think that it is a good source of protein for people who want to gain muscle mass. I have been reading a lot regarding bodybuilding and working out and i have not come across even one person who is recommending eating this as a protein source. But thanks again for the link though, maka bili na nga ng malunggay para maging healthy ako. :thumbsup:

Kwentong barbero lang yun..GAwa yan ng mga taong ayaw o walang interes sa pag gi-GYM. Para lang magkaroon sila ng excuse..Kung ang iniisip nila ay mgging kasinglaki sila ng mga nasa MR. OLYMPIA, well, DREAM ON!!! They will never be that huge the natural way.

i know how you feel bro, na kahit inaantok na ako gusto ko pa rin magbuhat kasi ang sarap ng feeling. but you have to take into consideration that your muscles also need to rest and recover and there is a possibility that you might be overtraining. although iba2x ang reaction ng katawan natin, make sure that you get enough rest.

what does your program look like and what is your goal? weight loss ba or gain muscle mass..

dont forget to eat right. mababalewala din yung hirap mo sa pagbubuhat if you dont feed it with the right food.

after the 3rd day back to day 1 ka ulit?
bro i would suggest that you move your tri together with chest since pre exhausted na to when you are doing your chest, same thing with the bicep and back. try to also limit it to under 1 hr..

ano ba goal mo? gain mass or loss weight..
