bro, kahit magbuhat ka ng 200lbs sa bench press mo, hindi ka lalaki pag hindi tama ang diet mo. you need protein to build muscles. yes pwede ka rin magdiet during weight training, but wag yung crash diet that you hardly eat anything. clean your diet (avoid eating fast food all the time, pizza, cake etc..) go for fish, chicken, vegetables, fruits, whole wheat. Im guessing na you want a "model" like body tama ba? One of the most common misconception is if you lift heavy, you will become bigger. It will only happen if you are eating properly (with enough protein),genetically gifted ka, na kahit hindi ka mag diet lumalaki ka, or using steroids. so if i were you, i'd lift hard and heavy, not only will it make you stronger, it will be easier for you to achieve the body that you want and make you feel good as well.
