sir bumili ako kay hotgadgets ng e355 as of now wala pa din ako mkta na pwd pamalit sa dashboard nito.. d maedit yung apn or settings nito.. at hindi ito ata pwdeng pang vpn eh..

Sir hindi naman kasi pwede i-flash yung usual na DB like yung sa e353 or yung typical USB modems. Web UI ang gamit nito kaya hindi mo dapat pianlitan yan. Have you tried consulting HG about your problem?

nope pero wala pa naman ako pnpakialaman d2 sa e355 ko im using right now.. ang gus2 ko lang sana maka-vpn.. para mas mabilis yung wifi connection ang bagal kasi sa area ko both ang globe at ang smart eh.. congested kasi eh..

nope pero wala pa naman ako pnpakialaman d2 sa e355 ko im using right now.. ang gus2 ko lang sana maka-vpn.. para mas mabilis yung wifi connection ang bagal kasi sa area ko both ang globe at ang smart eh.. congested kasi eh..

1.any safest way to open line the rocketplug-in locked for SMART only??
2.plano ko kasi globe ung ilalagay ko, meron kasing globe wimax signal dito sa amin, ito po ba ay 4g or hspa+ lang po?

talga cnu?! papost namn po ng link sir phone kasi gmit ko now pang browse eh.. hehehe.. kc yung gling sa globe na e355 pwedng palitan yung apn nya.. d katulad sa openline na gling kay hotgadgets hindi na papalitan..

straight forward po ang tool thanks to boss jaime4i see below screenshot. The number corresponds to the steps below too.

Run the tool make sure your Huawei is plugged in.

1. On top click Options.
2. On the CDROM drive choose the drive for your usb modem dongle. On the Output ISO image file put where you want to save your ISO file and put a name for it then click on Backup.
3. Once done with the backup run the tool again on the Input ISO image file locate the ISO image you created. Then on the Output dashboard installer file locate a folder where you want to put your dashboard installer and put a name on it without ".exe" extension. You can change the dashboard label to your name too. Then hit Create dashboard

Anyways ako po isa sa mga nagtest ng E355 dati nung Globe Broadband palang meron. I could say na hindi siya consistent na gamit kasi parang 'tsamba' minsan maka konek. Unlike kasi sa mga modem na may DB talaga, dito makikita mo na pataas pababa yung connection niya. Hindi din tumagal nagsubscribe ako sa SmartBro Plan 999 (yung sim lang) at sinalpak ko dito. So far so good naman siya. Good thing is may Wifi kasi siya to share to other people.

Matagal na din ako nagstop sa mga Free VPN kasi nauubos lagi oras ko kaka configure para lang magkanet.

At hindi ako sure baka aside sakin may nakapag testing pa ng VPN gamit ang E355 na Huawei Modem. Sana nakatulong.

Mga sir sulit ba mag sim only post-paid ke smarty para bumilis at stable ang connection? 1mbps lang kc max ko, pa bago-bago pa using smartybro prepaid gamit ko dito sa Baguio.

Saka sir 4G na ba pag nag cyan yung 353? HSPA lang kc nakikita ko sa DB never HSPA+ (d ko pa natry lagyan ng antennae, USB extension lang pero sa city lang kami at walking distance lang site ng PLDT)

Haven't tried VPN (sakit daw kc ng ulo pag heavy downloader ka. Totoo ba yun?)

Nae-edit Sir. Just got mine yesterday from HG and I can create a profile sa built-in DB without any hassle. LTE frequencies are LTE2100 and 1800 so this will work with Smart and Globe's respective LTE networks. I tried connecting to Smart's LTE last night when I was in RCBC Makati and di siya talaga maka-connect. Mismong supplier na ni HotGadgets din ang nagsabi na kelangan nito ng LTE sim in order to work sa LTE networks here. Kaya waiting mode muna ako while kung mag-offer ang Smart ng sim only plan for their LTE hehe.
