Whoa, excited ako kung ano kaya maximum LTE speed nya with Smarty? Asteeg! hehe

Up to 42 Mbps ang maximum DL speed ng Smart LTE but in order for you to achieve that e kelangan yung sim na gamit mo ay lte-enabled. Maliit pati ang range ng LTE in terms of coverage so kelangan covered yung area mo in order for you to get that adverstised speed.

Globe's LTE runs at 1800 MHz and they are going to offer it at two plans: First is Plan 1799 with DL speeds of up to 28 Mbps while the second is PLan 2499 pegged to hit DL speeds of up to 42 Mbps. Na-detect din ng e392 ko yung presence ng LTE network ni Globe when I tried using it kagabi sa Makati. Pero di rin makakonek kaya hintay na lang muna sa official roll out nila.

Nae-edit Sir. Just got mine yesterday from HG and I can create a profile sa built-in DB without any hassle. LTE frequencies are LTE2100 and 1800 so this will work with Smart and Globe's respective LTE networks. I tried connecting to Smart's LTE last night when I was in RCBC Makati and di siya talaga maka-connect. Mismong supplier na ni HotGadgets din ang nagsabi na kelangan nito ng LTE sim in order to work sa LTE networks here. Kaya waiting mode muna ako while kung mag-offer ang Smart ng sim only plan for their LTE hehe.

Nakakakonek po sa HSPA+ dahil meron naman wcdma2100 itong nabili ko. E392u-12 po yung exact model so paki-google na lang din po yung ibang specs.

Hspa+ naman signal na narereceive ko pero 2mbps lang? diba dapat nasa 7 or 5mbps manlang

@ Fawkes E392 is just a piece of crap dito sa pinas i bought it also and returned it why...hindi naman natin ma maximized yung gamit ng LTE using ordinary simcards na nabibili lang sa palengke. Smart offer is 3.5k which is 10GB capped :wtf: i can download 50GB of data traffic per day...so meaning pag lumampas ng 10GB yari ang bulsa. Ito naman si globobo baka lumabas din na mag ka prepaid pero baka sakop rin ng 800MB cap per day which in just 15minutes kaya kung ubusin yan na 800MB na yan

so i suggest don't BUY this CRAP E392 broadband pa LTE LTE pa hindi nga ma upgrade ng mga ISP natin yung whole area ng manila to DC-HSPA :wtf:

I need help mga sir.. wala kasing connection pag kinabit ko ang globe postpaid sa sa e353 ko to my edimax 3g router.. blinking lang sya.. but if I put my smart broadband sim okay naman sya..

tried configuring the router, nilagyan ko ng apn and ung dial nya pero di nag connect..

ano ang tamang configuration? thanks in advance

I don't think that the e392 in itself is a crap - may special provisioning kasi ginawa ang Smart and Globe kaya hindi makakakonek ang ordinary sim cards on their LTE network. Nilinaw din naman ni Sir HG ito when the units arrived. With the increased competition, both telcos might lower down their plans or even offer an LTE only sim plan with unlidata (wishful thinking hehe). Ito naman ang speed ng E392 ko:

bale need siyang i install sa tingin ko ok naman siya isa siyang internet dialer for 3G so puwede siyang pamalit kay SUN DB.

naka attached yung installer kung gusto ninyong ma try.

favorite ko dito si GSM850MHz at si DCS(1800MHz)

sa mga walang HSPA+ malamang ito na lang gamitin ninyo for the meantime.

im planning to buy tomorrow yung smart 4g broadband ung 1,245 pesos (e353 ata un) ..

ngaun ang question ko:
1.pwede ba palitan ng apn ang dashboard kung hindi paano po?
2.kung may limit ba ang unlisurf50 nya?or kung mapalitan ko ang apn ng internet, wala na po bang limit yun?.

by the way nag backread na po ako ng 30+ pages and wala po ko nakuhang straight na saagot,

pero ang medyo pagkakaintindi ko hindi pwede palitan ang apn sa dashboard, gawa nung gusto ng smart na may limit dahil sa mabilis na ang speed and kung ordinary sim ay hindi makakakuha ng hspa+ na signal?

patulong naman po.. malabo na po kasi ang mata ko at sumasakit ang ulo ko pag matagal ako nagbabasa, may problema na kasi mga mata ko.
