SETTING: first poem ko dito sa symbianize ..na-inspired akong gumawa dahil kay seven kasi kala ko puro inum lang alam nya.. deep din pala si loko

F R I E N D S

friends can come at any given time..
they can be jolly, they can be mime..
turning your back is not really an option..
because for you.. damn.. they worth more than a nation..


you can feel comfort when they are around..
they always check when you are safe and sound..
regardless of their race, status or color..
they stood up for you.. time and time before..


for someone they can be just a person..
but for you, there’s lot more reason..
staying with them through night and day..
because for you.. "i love them" that’s all you can say..


gaining friends is not really hard..
keeping them is what you should look forward..
having one is really a dream come true..
because they can teach you a thing or two..


friends can come at any given place..
they can even find you when you are at a maze..
because friends can come at any size..
its true.. i just found them here at symbianize..

H i l i n g


kahit panandalian lamang ang aming pagsasama
naging maaliwalas naman ito at ubod ng saya
aking masasabi hindi yun basta basta
napatunayan ko ng may tumulo sa aking mga mata

sa simula hindi mawawala ang ilangan
dahil na rin doon lamang nasulyapan
mga taong hindi mo namamalayan
magiging laman pala ng iyong puso't isipan

sa tomaan unang nagkaalaman
ng mga ugali pati na rin karanasan
namamalo na umpisa palang ng tagayan
yan ang mga alaalang kay hirap tanggihan

totoo, masaya tuwing graduation
pero bakit ganito? gusto ko pa ng extension
kahit malabo na't, akin na lamang imahinasyon
sana tumagal pa ating mga bakasyon

pamamaalam ay sadyang kay hirap
kay daling sambitan, katumbas isang singhap
pagsasamay matitigil at magiging mailap
sadyang ganyan ang buhay, huwag kang kukurap

alam ko panahon din ay darating
lahat tayo'y muling magkakapiling
sapagkat saan man makarating
kaligtasan nyo'y laman ng aking mga hiling

ngayon ko lang nakita to..
ang galing pala ni ketchup..
ang dami palang magagaling na poet dito..
di ko na nasundan yung sa ki..
sori.. di ko pa nagagawa yung promise ko..
wala pa ko sa mood eh..

anyway.. Good job..
kaw din ha?.. gawa ka pa ng marami..
wag kang gumaya sa kin..

For My Mom

mom thanks for everything..
for your hugs, kisses and norturing.
our bond was special and true..
because im not here without you!

you've chosen a perfect dad for me..
i think thats what you call destiny.
because opposite really do attracts..
they say you're stubborn, while he rocks!

even though they're saying im closer to dad..
its not true; they just dont know the bond we had.
coz mom and son was a different thing..
time is not enough to start mentioniong.

i know your happy now, guiding us up there..
although im still longing for the smoothness of your hair.
its been a while since we're apart..
but your space will stay forever in my heart.

Nay, dont worry i'll take good care of Tatay..
I know you can do better, I'll just give it a try.
the moment has come for me to drop this pen..
Nay.. I love you! See you in heaven!

H O L I D A Y



you'll know its Christmas when the wind is chilling
lots of gathering, gift giving and partying
but for others, its just one ordinary day
because they're still working for that well-deserved pay

nine mornings, puto-bumbong and Christmas tree
lots of people are on a shopping spree
children are really excited for the day to come
where they can stay uplate and chill with mom

dads are pretending to be the fat guy in red
putting gifts on socks while you're on bed
siblings are happily setting up the lights
making jokes and forgetting the fights

cellphones are keep on ringing
carolers are outside and joyfully singing
songs that make you smile, feel and see
that Christmas is just around and for everybody

lets reach deeply into our hearts
to feel the reasons, to do our parts
coz Christmas is time for sharing
your time, love and unconditional caring

when she was born i dont know what to say
feels like staring at sunset in the calmest bay
first time i saw her my heart really jumped
her presence lights up the room like a golden lamp

pinching myself is this really true?
i cant take off my eyes to her, stucked like glue
kissing her cheeks feels like heaven to me
now i know what it feels to be a daddy

singing lullabies is not really my cup of tea
but i think im getting the job done, she's getting sleepy
and when she do sleeps i cant help to smile
sleepless nights, they're all gone in a sigh

i cant wait to hear her soft-tickling giggles
for now i'll settle on massaging her tender muscles
so that in future we can run strong together
while singing the songs that love by each other

i know that im rookie on raising a girl
im willing to learn, experience, make those twirl
and i know that i cant choose the most suited blouse
but i can try, i have the finest seat in the house

there will come a time that we will quarrel
but im not worried its like the flow on a novel
sometimes protagonists lost on their way
i can be her coffee, i'll bright up her day

my angel wont be here if not for her mother
she's like honey to a pancake, my perfect partner
they're my source of happiness, my life, my breath
feels like forever, they're heaven sent

we're forever grateful for having her as our baby
is this too much? definitely! she's a thing of beauty
all of the angels will look after her
i know they will, but i can do so much better

God please guide us to be responsible parents
we can offer our life for her, just to sense her scents
You really blessed us with the greatest grace
You really do love us, we can see it on her face​

Sinusulat ko habang minamasdan syang natutulog..


DUYAN

Mura man ang kuha nito sa tindahan
Sulit nya naman itong pahingahan
Gawa man ito sa kahoy na ratan
Dito magsisimula ang kanyang kinabukasan


Unan nya man dito'y maliliit at kaunti
Antok naman nya'y agad napapawi
Kapag malamig na hangin sa mukha ay dumampi
Siguradong bagsak ang mga mata't pisngi


Hindi ko hahayaang makanti ng lamok at langaw
Kahit makadapo man lang sa mga taling puti't bughaw
Kaya naman hindi ko sya inaalis sa aking tanaw
Ayus lang tumingin basta bawal ang humiyaw


Sa mga taling iyon mga daliri'y nakakapit
Habang nahihimbing at mga mata'y nakapikit
Mga paa ma'y minsan nasasabit
Okay lang huwag sanang mapilipit


Kahit madalas na may kalabog
Konting hele lang na may marahang alog
Tiyak babalik na sya sa kanyang pagtulog
Huwag kang maingay kung ayaw mo akong magdabog


Pagtulog nya'y pagmasdan mo at hindi ka mauumay
Lalo na paghawak ang malalambot at maliliit na kamay
Paghalik sa pisnig siguradong ipapanay-panay
Mahirap pero walang kasing sarap maging tatay
