Good news guys. Jack Ma, chinese billionaire, criticized Phil's internet. We can use this. My suggestion is we construct a proper petition before posting at change.org. We should brainstorm so we could construct a very effective petition.
Yeah, that guy. Could you help me construct a petition? The ones I was invited to sign are properly constructed and convincing so I think that's part of the reason why it garnered that much attention. I'm not confident that I can construct an effective petition by myself coz I haven't done this kind of thing before so I want everyone's help before posting a petition on Change.orgKahapon yata yan, yung may-ari ng ALIBABA. Nung nag-seminar siya sa La salle.
Do you guys know Change.org? If you don't, it's a site where people file for a petition and seek signatures to garner attention about an issue. I don't know if you guys saw this on news but there was an issue 2 years ago when Canadian containers full of garbage were dumped here in the Philippines. People filed a petition on Change.org and I received an e-mail about it asking me to sign. I signed and months and tens of thousands of signatures later the petition garnered attention and an article about the petition was written on the news paper. After that, it garnered more attention and got on TV news. In the end, many politicians got the news and the Canadian ambassador was forced to make an action. I do not know if the issue was solved but maybe if we can make a noise this loud we can force these fucking TelCos and NTC to remove data capping here in Phil. It's not enough for these money mongers that internet here in our country is shitty at best they even added a limit at how much we can use it. These fuckers report BILLIONS of revenue when their service is god awful.
IIRC, the petition I told you about only got about 50,000 signatures. If we can gather a million or more signatures, we can get our voices be heard and maybe get a solution to the problem one way or another. Luckily, Change.org can be shared on FB and other social media sites so you can get the news out much faster. Also, Duterte already expressed he will allow foreign TelCo investors so we can get better internet service here in Phil so there's already interest in the government side for a change.
What do you guys think?
PS : I don't want to be the one who will make the petition though but definitely count me in on signing and getting the word out
me petition pang nalalaman, etse buretche lang yan.. wala na kayo magawa. me capp na talaga at dapat lang
This is a healthy conversation, now kung nagpapaka-squatter ka sa salitaan, walang problema sa akin.
