guys, i used game list 1.4 to download game updates, ininstall ko ung update for nba 2k11 but it seems it didn't work cause the roster was not updated (wala pa sa knicks si melo).. tried both na nasa external HDD at internal HDD ung game pero hindi naguupdate sa parehas..

anyone knows how to fix this? rather how to check if the game has truly been updated by the downloaded .pkg? thanks!

First thing you have to consider when downloading DLC, Patch, update and the like is whether the game has Region free DLC or not otherwise you will have to consider first the region of the game as well as the region of the DLC.

Is it safe to change the internal hard drive of my PS3 from 80 GB to 1 TB/2 TB? Puro kasi NTFS yung external ko and puro may laman kay ayaw ko ng iformat pa. Fat PS3 yung sakin. Safe ba siya? And how much yung aabutin?

Okay lang ang 1Tb (meron na ba nito dito satin?) pero madalas sa mga nababasa ko pinaka nirerekuminda nilang pinaka mataas na internal HDD para sa PS3 is hangang 720Gb.

I think mas okay pa mag invest ka na lang sa external HDD kasi as we all know mas mahal talaga ang mga 2.5" SATA Internal HDD as compared to 3.5" SATA powered External HDD (w/ AC Adaptor).

Opo, mas maganda kung pareho ng region ang games mo at yung DLC/Patch/Update na download mo, pero tulad nga ng sabi ko meron namang mga games na region free pag dating sa mga DLC kaya okay lang kahit hindi pareho ng region yung game at DLC.

Hindi kasi ako basketball fanatic kaya hindi ko alam kung region free ba ang 2K11 pag dating sa DLC.

Kadalasan naka lagay naman sa source nung update kung para saang region ba yung DLC (US/Asian/EU). Kung hindi naman naka lagay kung para saang region pwede mo tignan yung filename nung dina-download/na-download mo DLC, kasi kadalasan ang filename non ay may kapareho sa Disk/Game ID nung game na pag-gagamitan ng DLC.

Halimbawa; Heavy Rain may corresponding Disk/GAME ID yan..

Disk/Game ID : BCUS98164

Para naman sa DLC filenames ganto nakikita natin diba;

UP9000-BCUS98164_00-PATCH00000000002-A0200-V0100-PE.pkg

Nakita mo kahit papano may makikita kang trace nung Disk/Game ID sa filename ng DLC... ibig sabihin pareho ang Region nila.

Kapag nag-iinstall ka ng mga DLC/Updates makikita mo sila as parang katulad nung mga icon ng mandatory install ng mga games matatagpuan mo sila under Game Data Utility folder.

ganun pala, so mas mura siya. significant ba yung price diff o hindi naman? itong 2TB external ko kasi e a/c powered na kaya siguro sunod na buy ko na lang e yung portable para maiba at mas convenient.

@ mike013~ chief i have the same external drive 500Gb nga lang had hard time detecting to my PS3 please advise kung na detect ng Ps3 mo yan and how did you do it. Sakin i already formated the the to fat32 wala parin...napagana ko na sya ngayun need mo nga lang ng hardware.

Siguro dahil USB 3.0 kaya nag kakaron ng compatibility issue kasi natively 2.0 lang ang USB slot ng PS3 eh. I think may support na naman ang USB 3.0 sa latest OFW.
