1 week pa lang po sakin yung s4 ko. Kaso bakit parang ambilis ma-drain ng battery? Na-off ko na po lahat ng unnecessary features at nakapowersaving mode pa. Tapos may DU battery app na din.

Ano pa po ba tips para mas tumagal battery?

auto brightness po off nyo din.. kc po may sensor yan..lagi sya nag check ng environment pra ma base nya po dun ang brightness ng display..

green android logo on screen...downloading...do not turn off target it displays...for 30 mins now...

nkabukas po ang 4G/mobile data, pag sa office po ako bukas ang wifi..

nka live wallpaper po ako..

50% po ang display brightness ko..

mostly FB msngr. whatsApp. skype ang nka online po sa phone ko daily..

nka official ROM dn po ako..hndi dn po rooted phone ko

nag root po ako dati 3-4m lng po..tpos custom ROM 5-6m lng..

The word "brick", when used in reference to consumer electronics, describes an electronic device such as a smart phone, game console, router, or tablet computer that, due to a serious misconfiguration, corrupted firmware, or a hardware problem, can no longer function.

There's two types of brick, hard and soft. Lets go through this to make the distinction clearer.

Hard this is where the handset will absolutely refuse to boot at the press of the power button. Diagnostics: Dead screen, no power. That is the symptom of a hard brick. Reason: This can happen by inadvertently pulling the cable when flashing a ROM or even an update via the handset's supporting software such as Samsung Kies, Sony's PC Companion Suite etc. That is the worst case, that is why in this scenario, always, make, sure that no cable gets pulled unless told so by the supporting software in question. The other way is this, flashing in that manner when the battery power is low. Hence for that reason, it is recommended to have at least 75% of battery power in place prior to doing the update in that fashion. Its known as hard-brick, and requires specialist cables and stripping the device down to the circuitary board to revive it via JTAG cables.
Soft - this can happen through a bad flashing of the ROM in which yields the following. Diagnostics: it has power when the power button is pressed, and/or, the screen comes on. Reason: It can be a user error on this part. For example, failing to clear/wipe the data/cache, can cause Android to go into a boot-loop because of the mis-matches with the Android's virtual machine and the apps installed, or more than likely, a corrupted dalvik cache. The other, is flashing a ROM that is not designated for the handset which can cause the kernel to go into a boot-loop. This is generally easier to fix, but hangs, that is known as a soft-brick.

sir ano po isbig nyo sabihin ng downloading pa rin ang odin?di po normal yun kung umabot ka na ng 30 min,sabi nga ng mga eksperto,kung umabot ka ng 5min and more sa pag roroot,you need to take more practice.

tama naman yung sinunod mo na rooting procedures ni sir ge60,ang tanong ko po kung naextract nyo po ba yung mga pinadownload sayo dun(cf auto root) at (odin3),dapat po maging tar.md5 yun dulo,ngayon kung nagawa mo naman maextract yung dalawa,try mo yung ibang odin3 kung 3.07 ang ginamit mo pwede mo din itry yung 1.85
dapat na check din yung usb debugging

check mo sir kng bloated yung battery mo. kng hindi naman baka may na install ka lng na d kaaya aya.

try this simple method mam if this will work for you,turn off the device,open it,tap the left soft key(menu)simultaneously until your home screen pop out,you should now in SAFE MODE(you can see it at the bottom left of your screen).try to observe your device,if symptom persist,pack up your things then go to your nearest service center for a free check up and repair(maybe a possible replacement depending on your dealers policy)it might be a software problem(this can be fix by flashing a compatible firmware/rom to your device by of course "an authorized technician" and maybe an advanced users like me(just kidding)sometimes when your ram is full it automatically shutdown your device but i dont think it is the main reason of the trouble that you are suffering as you have said you already conducted a factory reset and still it persist.i strongly suggest to bring it to the authorized service center


but if you are eager to do it at your own risk,many out there will help,and i can give you a piece of advise, just read read and read,before doing things that you are not familiar with,because it may harm your phone and worst you will end up,on bricking your expensive,luxurious elegant galaxy s4

Tama n naman si sir crunch,bakit di ko na naman naisip to,eto nga pla yung easiest/safest way para makapg flash ng official firmware(if any) via ota and kies(semi advanced user)
Galing talaga pag may mga ganitong thread madami ka mapupulot,minsan pumasok ka dito(symbianize) at sumali ng walang laman pero eventually pag lumabas ka na dito(outside symbianize)isa ka ng android adviser sa mga kapitbahay mo kaibigan,chika babes,etc..lupet diba ehehe kapag tinanung ka san ka natuto dapat ang isagot natin produkto kasi ako ng symbianize,sabay invite natin sila

natakot po tuloy ako after ive read about brick.just a newbie po kasi kaya mejo engot pa..kulang pa experience hehe.

nu naman po pala ung usb debugging?

pra po sa akin, mgnda po ang rooted device..

may root access ka po sa sys files, with write permission..

mdami dn po ang mga apps na pang rooted device lng..tulad po ng folder mount ni sir Darksidepogi..pwd nyo po ilipat lhat ng data nyo sa ext sd card..

mdami dn po mga apps na pang customize ng phone nyo na need root access..

about po sa update this coming Oct... Official ROM po un..kht po after update nyo..d p dn po magging rooted and device nyo (kng d nyo po root manually)

USB Debugging...eto po ay prang switch ng full control ng computer sa phone nyo..ginagamit po eto sa pag test/debug ng new apps ng mga dev sa phone gamit ang computer..important dn po na nka enable to pag mag root tyo ng device dahil eto po ang isang kailangan ng root app pra mka access fully sa phone ntn..
