So distant, yet so near
You painted light over my loneliness and fear
And a smile on my sky appeared
it was all so clear.
It was an instant
But the night became so vibrant.
You are almost here
Here, where I can hold you so dear.
My eyes were drawn by your beauty
Turned a blind side to the agony.
But what i wished
Can't be realized
As my hands tried to reach
You have vanished.
Like a shooting star
You have traveled so far.
You have waited so long
For a place to belong.
Don't leave without a trace,
Fall in to my heart
where your memories
will be embraced.
