User Groups - Star Members, Diamond Members, Pioneers, etc.

Symbianize members are classified according to the groups below.

Basic Members

The default group for new members with account restrictions.​

Advanced Members

Members whose account is 1 month old and made 20 posts. Account restrictions are removed.​

Privileged Groups

Prime Members​

Members who've made contributions to help in the development and maintenance of the site through donations. This is a temporary group used simply to grant access to star items. ​

Diamond Members​

Members who've made significant contributions to help in the development and maintenance of the site. Grants access to star items but unlike Prime Members inclusion to this group is permanent. ​

Star Members​

Members who've made significant contribution in overall forum activity. Grants access to star items and able to earn stars*. Members are automatically promoted to this group when they reach 500 trophy points. ​

​

Staff Members / Moderators​

The authority figure of the site. Active members of the forums with high forum awareness tasked to acknowledge the contribution of other members, maintain order and ensure a harmonious forum environment through enforcement of the rules.​

Distinguished Groups

Pioneer Members​

Symbianize honors the early contributors of the site by including the first 5 Star Members* and first 5 Diamond Members to this group.​

Founding Members​

Symbianize honors the early moderators of the site by including the first 5 Moderators to this group. If a Pioneer Member qualifies for this group he/she will lose the pioneer status and as a result will open up another slot for Pioneer Members.​

*Star Member's trophy points from Brilliance trophies and Charms availed with star-converted bits don't count in determination of Pioneer Members and rewarding of stars.

We have plans to add Specialized Groups later which will include members contributing expertise in particular interests like graphics, literature, hardware, software, etc. Inclusion to the group will solely depends on our existing posts. No tasks, no commitments.

Group Ranks

Diamond member ranks are based on total donations. You may refer to Brilliance trophies for details.

• Diamond Member - members are promoted to this rank after receiving the Advocate trophy.
• Rare Diamond Member - members are promoted to this rank after receiving the Philanthropist trophy.
• Epic Diamond Member - members are promoted to this rank after receiving the Topaz trophy.
• Heroic Diamond Member - members are promoted to this rank after receiving the Tourmaline trophy.

Star member ranks are based on total trophy points. You may refer to Star of Symbianize trophies for details.

• Star Member - members are promoted to this rank after receiving the Nebula trophy.
• Elite Star Member - members are promoted to this rank after receiving the Blue Giant trophy.
• Mythic Star Member - members are promoted to this rank after receiving the Pulsar trophy.
• Heroic Star Member - members are promoted to this rank after receiving the Hypernova trophy.

Pioneer and Founding members are automatically promoted to Heroic ranks when they've gained other Heroic rank or promoted to Level 4 Moderator.

The Masters

We'd like to take this opportunity to introduce the Masters group, we consider this as our proudest group, the master contributors of Symbianize. Recipients of the annual Masters Awards, and only them, will be included to this group. More information about the Masters Awards and this group will be posted later. But just to give you an idea, the awards are not based on reactions nor trophy points.​

The Founding Members

The Founding Members will now consist of 8 members. Aside from the first 5 Moderators, the 3 top contributors (1 each from Masters, Star, and Diamond members) at the end of this year (only) will also be included to this group.​

The Honorary and Veteran Members

​

The Honorary members were Level 5 Moderators or Hall of Fame members, and the Veteran members were former Staff or Contributors with at least 450 reputation points in the old forums. We honor them by including them to these groups. But just like Advanced member group, these are temporary groups and members will be removed from this group once they are promoted to Staff, Star, Diamond or Masters group.​
