Don't Look Up

Last year pa tong movie na to pero kagabi ko lang napanood lol. I liked it. For me, another solid addition sa film repertoire nila DiCaprio & JLaw. I love the fact how it accurately depicts our current state as human beings in a satirical way, especially pagdating sa politics and ideals, and also how our society sadly works right now. Sobrang tugma sa current affairs, shown in a way na nakakatawa but at the same time nakaka-worry din. Yung overall theme nito is parang isang malaking metaphorical na sampal din sa mga mukha natin, telling/urging us to become better kung gusto nating mabuhay ng mas matagal sa mundong to, or at least para man lang sa mga future generations.

at first when I leaned na magkakaroon to ng movie.. na excite kami because meron kaming complete book collection nito.
Pero nung nakita namen ang casting, medyo na disappoint kasi aside sa di kilala ang casts, di din halos nasunod ang description na nasa book.

But after watching the move.. It's good! Generally nasunod naman ang flow ng story sa book, This movie covers ony Book 1 of 7.
Maganda ang twist ng story na trademark ni Soman Chainani.

Black Adam

Para sakin, enjoyable na superhero movie naman siya. Hindi ka mabibitin sa action. Never ako nakapagbasa ng any DC comics kaya di ko kilala si Black Adam, pero yung movie personality ni Dwayne eh mukhang saktong-sakto para sa role niya dito. Anyway, despite being a Marvel fan, in fairness sobrang intriguing & interesting ng mid-credits scene nito. Hopefully maayos ng Warner Bros. mga internal problems nila para makapag-deliver sila soon ng magandang Superman vs Black Adam na movie.

7/10 siguro sa gore. Pinagsamang The Witch at ALIEN ng Korean movie. Okay din naman ung subtitle pwede na lol.

true to life story ng american bank robber. sya record holder ng most consecutive bank robberies (59 banks) sa canada. may baril sya pero panakot lang never sya nagpaputok puro disguise lang. kadalasan lalapit lang sa bank teller at sasabihan yung teller na punuin ng pera yung bag nya. unang nakaw nya wala pa nga syang bag yung teller pa naghanap ng bag para sa kanya. flying bandit tawag sa kanya kasi madalas syang sumakay ng commercial plane para makapangholdap sa halos lahat ng probinsya sa canada. nakaipon yata sya ng 150k+ frequent flyer points. marangal trabaho nya dati kaso di dinapuan ng swerte kaya nangholdap na lang simula ng magkapamilya para may ipambuhay sa pamilya nya

8/10 enjoyable exciting di ka mabobore must-see pero di sya yung tipo ng movie na uulitin mo, pede na yung isang nood lang
