ok toh it's a good drama fantasy romance film
isa din ito sa mga strong contenders sa Oscars this year
tungkol ito sa isang babaeng pipi na nagtatrabaho sa isang government research facility bilang isang janitress noong 1960s
dun nya nakita ang isang sea creature monster nagkaroon sya ng connection, nadevelop, at eventually na inlove sila sa isa't isa
great performance by Sally Hawkins
all in all, interesting sya and it has heart, i think para syang modern day fairy tale but not for kids (may maseselang eksena at violence)
sa lahat ng movie na nominated for best picture sa Oscars 2018, so far ito pa lang ang nagustuhan ko

pinakita din sa film nato ung personality ni Winston Churchill as a historical figure and as a husband
relate much ung iba dito kasi this film also shows some events in Dunkirk
di masisisi kung bakit nanalo si Gary Oldman as Best Actor sa nakaraang Golden Globes ang galing kasi ng acting performance nya dito
all in all, inantok ako sa movie nato medyo slow and boring pero panalo naman sa portrayal ni Gary Oldman as Winston Churchill
kung mahilig ka sa history this film is for you

di lang ung mga nanonood sa sinehan pati ako natatawa sa movie na ginawa nila
surprised to see Zac Efron in a small role alam naman natin basta James Franco movie hindi mawawala mga actor friends nya sa cast especially Seth Rogen

sa kalagayan ng boss ng The Washington Post mahirap na decision ang kailangan niyang gawin dahil nakasalalay ang kanilang trabaho, ang company, at reputasyon kung itutuloy nila ang paglathala nito dahil di biro at government ang kakalabanin nila at malamang matulad sila sa sinapit ng The New York Times na nauna nang nagpost ng ganun
as usual, another great performance by Meryl Streep and also Tom Hanks
isa din to sa mga strong contenders sa darating na Oscars this year
all in all, ok naman ung movie very relevant sya
i'm sure makakarelate dito ung mga journalists and press
at tsaka this film reminds me of Spotlight (2015)

napa wow ako dun sa unang conversation scene ni Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks sa isang coffee shop table

inaral nya ang terms at kalakaran sa poker hanggang sa siya na mismo ang nag host ng sarili nyang underground high-stakes poker game na puro big time ang guests at mga bigating personalidad ang naglalaro gabi gabi with large amount of money involved ayun dumami din ng dumami ang pera nya
kaso may di inaasahang pangyayari at nakuha sa kanya
tapos dumating sa point na inaresto sya ng FBI inimbestigahan hanggang sa humantong sya sa korte
great performance by Jessica Chastain
all in all it's about poker, addiction, ski, at father-daughter issues
ok lang naman but may mga times na nabored ako
buti nlng this film has Molly Brown/Jessica Chastain voiceover narrating the story in detail throughout the film kya di ka mawawala lalo na it's too long at maraming characters na sumusulpot

distressed but determined ang mother na matumbasan ung hinihinging ransom money ng mga kidnappers
great performance by Michelle Williams and Christopher Plummer
all in all, ok naman i felt the thrill sa bandang huli

movie tungkol sa day to day life ng isang six years old girl living in a motel with her single rebel mom
hindi sya masyadong nasusubaybayan ng mom nya kya madalas nya kasama ang mga friends nya at kung saan saan sila nkakarating
makukulit at pasaway ang mga batang ito and they sometimes get into trouble
the film follows the characters lives and how they strive for a living
great performance by the kids especially the little girl and her mom very natural ang acting nila and of course Willem Dafoe
unfortunately, 9 films lang ang nominated for Best Picture sa Oscars this year at di to nakasama
all in all, ok naman makakarelate dito ung iba kasi malamang ganito ka din nung bata ka or makakarelate dito ung may anak, kapatid, pamangkin na ganito kakulit
this film hindi sya ung tipong may pasabog or twist but it's a character driven film in a real life scenario
kung mahilig ka sa indie films na authentic at natural this film is for you




P.S.
i like the restaurant scene ung pagtataray ng mom nya sa ex-friend nya while on duty at sa burping kinda funny
what i don't like is the napkin scene yuck!
