depende pa rin sa e353, meron multi band,meron din nmn hindi..
user preference na lng po ksi ang difference ng modem na yan,
sa presyo mag ka iba rin diba
^Isa pang difference ng e353 at e357 ay hardware - e353 has an external antenna interface which the e357 lacks out of the box. Kahit naman multiband ang e357 hindi rin naman ma-maximize ito sa Smart kasi wala naman WCDMA850 ang e357 so either HSDPA/HSPA+ ka lang makaka-connect since WCDMA2100 ang frequency na gamit ng 4G+ network ng Smart ang Globe.

meron din saksakan ng external antenna si e357 sir kaso nasa loob pa at kelangan pa siyang buksan. risky nga lang kasi tanggal ang warranty sigurdao.

sir fawkes anu ba yung WCDMA850? kasi nakaka konek ako ngayun using E357 na openline, at ang signal ko is "HSPA" Using SMART SIM... balak kong ibenta to at bibili sana ako ng E353 sa Smart, pero parang parehas naman sila....
E372 nalang sana bibilhin ko, kaya lang walang ganun dito sa amin... kanino ba bibili ng E372, yung trusted talaga, na darating yung ITEM...

e pano kung wala pang HSPA + dito sa area namin di ako pwde gumamit nyan? pero may nagbebenta na dito ng ganyan.. sa pampanga po kasi kami

Dati kasi meron signal tong e353 ko sa lugar namin pero ngayon wala na, pero pag sa ibang lugar meron namang signal.

Just wanted to share..
I did a heatsink mod on my E353 but still want it to be portable, so below is the result..
The heatsink was from an old 6600gt video card that was cut into the desired shape using a rotary tool.
It took me about 2 hours to finish the entire mod.
Now, going a bit over the top.. =)
This stainless dish (for P25) gives me roughly 7db gain. However, I'm still on the hunt for that "perfect" mesh strainer parabola that could provide 10-13db gain.
* Old Pentium CPU fan + damaged USB cable = Small USB fan to cool off those heatsinks.
* A piece of black tubular plastic acts as holder for the USB extension.
* A "Helping Hand" tool serves as a temporary stand for the dish. Sample pic below:
